Sliding and coupling joint, especially intended for furniture
Opis oferty
The subject matter of this Invitation is an invention in the form of a sliding joint for furniture which generates mounting forces that hold the respective elements together. This allows the user to make separable connections that are invisible from the outside and do not require any tools. By default, the connector is made of hard and resistant plastic. The connector has two protrusions in the form of ribbed cylinders. The cylindrical protrusions are located 32 mm away from each other, and enable pressing or gluing the connector into the sockets of elements to be connected. The connector also has an extended hammer-shaped protrusion, a groove of an opposite shape and an empty space of the same width as the hammer and the opposite shape. The empty space is supposed to enable mounting the hammer in the groove of the opposite shape. The sliding joint for furniture elements is composed of a pair of identical connectors. The final assembly of box-type furniture elements with the sliding joint consists in moving the elements close to each other by inserting the protrusion of the connector into the empty space. The next step is to slide the elements against each other, resulting in the connector’s protrusion being firmly mounted in the groove of the opposite connector. Finally, two stable connections are formed by a single pair of connectors. When connecting the elements, the connectors face each other so they may snap into one another.
